Artist

Kate Yarberry, ( aka  Aurorah Yarberry, or Kate Pinko) is attending the Arts Institute in Bournemouth (AIB), England UK perusing a BA (hons) degree in Animation Production and will be graduating in June 2011. She grew up living in Atlanta, Ga, and has lived periodically in several major cities in the US and England. She has written music fan zines under the moniker of Kate Pinko. She graduated high school from the Benjamin Franklin Academy in 2004 and attended Georgia State University for two years before pursuing a degree in Animation Production in the UK.  She also has worked in the American tattoo industry for a brief period attributing this to pushing her into exploring a career in the Arts Industry more in depth. She has donated work to the Tony Hawk Foundation, The Atlanta Tornado Relief Fund, and several other charities. She had her first solo painting show at the age of 21 in Atlanta at  where she showed a collection of paintings from her late teenage years which was well received. She has also designed a shirt for H&M’s store on the Camden High Street in London, England. At the moment she is contributing work on student short animated films at AIB which will be hitting the festival circuit later in 2009; and applying for internships at animation studios in the US and abroad. She has also done commissions for well known American newspaper personality and author Hollis Gillespie among others. She draws every day.
